Town of Eustis is seeking applicants for Animal Control Officer. This position is responsible for the enforcement of State and Town laws pertaining to animal care, control, and public safety. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: making sure unlicensed dogs are vaccinated and registered in a timely matter, issuing citations as needed, apprehending dogs at large, bringing stray animals to the shelter, releasing wildlife caught in town in a safe fashion. This position is per diem-hourly pay and mileage, training and certification covered by the town. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
