NECEC Meeting

*New England Clean Energy Connect Informational Meeting*
When: August 28th, 2019 from 6:00 pm-7:30pm
Where: Eustis Community Building
Central Maine Power (CMP) is proposing to build a 145-mile, high-voltage, direct current transmission line, called the New England Clean Energy Connect (NECEC), from Quebec to an interconnection with the existing New England grid in Lewiston. This informational meeting will allow representatives to present information and answer questions.
Representatives for and against the project will provide opening statements, followed by questions from the public. Questions can be submitted in writing prior to the meeting at the Town Office, or at the meeting on the 28th. One question per person. Each side will then provide a closing statement.
There will be a vote at the Town Office on September 4th from 4pm-8pm.
